This is a beautiful 1842 half dime, that was found at an old tree farm in Southern Maryland.  This one will go in my vault of treasures.  Was found using a Minelab Explorer SE at 6 inches down.

This little 1810 1 Reale, was found at an old farm in Southern Maryland.  It is alittle beat up, but still I nice find.  The hole on the small piece was punched in it to allow for securing it to a person.  They use to cut each coin up for change or payment for a specific amount, instead of giving other coinage. (usually cut with a knife)   Was found using a Minelab Explorer SE in a corn field at 4 inches down, in an area that was well hunted.

This Miscellanous lot of finds range from a 1849 large cent to some nice buttons.  Found this on the same old farm as the Reales.  What alot of people don't know is that all these items are a bit of history, they aren't junk.  Each piece has a story to tell.  Was found using a Minelab Explorer SE & a Garrett ACE 250 at various depths.

Here is a nice set of dimes found by my daughter at one of our local parks.  She was using a Garrett ACE 250.  She had the larger coil on the unit.  Some of the coins were up to 10 inches down.
