3 YEARS AGO SCOTLAND TRIP
The next photos are of our trip back to Scotland. My wife's homeland, and my second home. The country is great along with all our family and friends from there. Great Britain is full of history, you can see this by the pictures I am presenting. I had a great time detecting, and found some really nice items, along with modern change in the total of 135.00 pounds.

Lochness just outside Inverness. (A must to see). The Castle ruins are said to have catacombs under it that are suppose to be the home of the FAMOUS LOCHNESS MONSTER. (I didn't see anything, but I was still hasitant sticking my toe in the loch) My Wife and I were married not far from here. The country holds alot of history for our family and as a treasure hunter.

Loch Skiport located on the western side of Scotland on a string of Islands called The Western Hebrides. This location was on South Uist (Not far from where my wife grew up, in a Thatched Cottage). This certain location was where the Queen and her family would put in to port when visiting the Isles. (I would like to say thank you to our friends and family) Roddy Mac Donald and Sandra MacLeod who took me to this grand place, and it will always be a part of my memory.

This is the same location as above except is a view outward to the Minch (was known for it's Submarine traffic during the Cold War era) It also has a Salmon fish farm located in the picture.

These are Wild Ponies that had originally strayed away. They are now protected, and if you have a carrot will allow you to feed them. (From the car window I suggest.......They Bite too)

While visiting Loch Skiport we metal detected and found some nice early coppers, but the great find was the smile on my Daughters face when she caught these 4 Mackrel on one cast. (NOW THAT IS A TREASURE FOR ETERNITY.

Here we are in North Uist, on one of the many beaches. We are here with family and friends Cockling. We had a great feast this night. There is nothing better than spending the day out with your family getting cold, wet, and digging bucket full of cockles (clams).
EVEN IF YOU DON'T TREASURE HUNT, THERE ARE TREASURES THAT CAN BE FOUND EVERYWHERE.
GET OUT WITH YOUR FAMILY, AND ENJOY LIFE!
